Friends call me Kimbo. I’m the guy behind Koreapedia - an English-based wiki about Korea. | |||
I created Koreapedia to make it easier for non-Korean speakers to connect to Korea. To connect to their "inner Koreans". | |||
I was born in Seoul, Korea in 1960 and immigrated to Australia as a 4 year old. I spent my childhood playing cricket, watching the BBC and eating bad food. Oh... and I lost all my Korean as a young child. During my childhood the hot Australian sun dried out all the Korean words from me. | |||
After that I have spent a lifetime reconnecting with Korea. My family has spent a century and three generations connecting East and West with written words. Now I want to share with you all I have learnt during my journey back to the heart of Korea. I warmly welcome you to join my, and my family's journey through Koreapedia. | |||

안녕하세요. 김대규입니다 / Hello, I'm Kimbo, or Dai-Kyu Kim.
Friends call me Kimbo. I’m the guy behind Koreapedia - an English-based wiki about Korea.
I created Koreapedia to make it easier for non-Korean speakers to connect to Korea. To connect to their "inner Koreans".
